Your job as sales engineer:

  • In this dynamic sales position, you will actively shape business development in the Asian market and take responsibility for the successful acquisition and support of international clients.
  • You will prepare quotations for the Asian sales region based on customer-specific concepts, technical specifications, and individual requirements.
  • In addition, you will be responsible for business development activities in the Asian market and, if necessary, participate in customer visits to clarify technical issues and identify new business opportunities.
  • You will oversee the handover of acquired projects to the internal project team and ensure that all relevant information is communicated in a complete and transparent manner.
  • Another key aspect of your role is participation in trade fairs across Asia, where you will professionally represent our company and establish valuable market and customer contacts.
  • In the long term, there is an opportunity to develop into the position of Head of Sales for the Asia region and to actively contribute to shaping the regional sales strategy.

Your skills:

  • Completed technical degree, qualification as a state-certified technician, or a comparable qualification - ideally in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, or electrical engineering
  • Initial experience in sales is desirable
  • Knowledge of Asian mentality and business culture
  • Strong customer and service orientation
  • Willingness to travel internationally and a valid Class B driver’s license
  • Proficient in MS Office (particularly PowerPoint, Teams, and Excel)
  • Good command of English (written / spoken)
