Ihre Aufgaben:

Viking EMEA is active in the sale and distribution of firefighting products and systems in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. Viking EMEA employs approximately 200 people and has distribution centers in Luxembourg (headquarters), Germany, Sweden, UK, Italy, Spain, Russia and Turkey. Several local offices in Poland, Romania and Balkans, the Netherlands, and Dubai complete the network of our presence in the EMEA region.
 
Due to continued growth and market development, we are searching for a Experienced Technical Customer Service Representative for the Romanian/Bulgarian market to join our motivated team in Bad Oldesloe (DE).
 
In this varied and challenging role, you will be responsible for the first customer contacts, so you have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service as a tool to sustain our growth. You provide our clients with excellent support and assistance over the phone and thanks to your commercial attitude and technical knowledge you will enhance sales over the phone. You manage and follow up the end-to-end process from product selection, quotes preparation, customer problem-solving first contact point, order entry and up to the delivery of materials.
 
You will build strong relationships with our local sales and technical support team based in Romania and our Credit Department based in Luxembourg.
 
As a result of your commercial skills and proven track records as customer service, you will become the first point of contact with your customer, you will own the day to day relationship with all the customers. The role could develop further into the commercial management of a selected portfolio of customer. Despite that this role is office based, it could involve to occasionally visit your customers.
 
  • Understand and convert customer requirement into product code or Bill of Material (product understanding is required for this activity)
  • Prepare and follow up quotes based on pricing guidelines from the commercial team, with the authority (within company rules) to close sales and maximize quote conversion
  • Close cooperation with credit dept. to ensure order fulfilment is required
  • Process and follow up incoming orders
  • Maximize sales by proactively provide customers with product and service information to influence decision making
  • Answer queries from customers regarding prices & delivery times, product information, technical documents etc.
  • Liaise with Replenishment team and occasionally with suppliers in case of drop shipments
  • Coordinate shipment to customers – Liaise with the warehouse/ carrier if necessary;
  • Check daily reports and act accordingly
  • Additional tasks upon request from the Operations Manager

Ihre Qualifikationen:

  • This position requires experience 5+ years in a commercial or customer service environment
  • You have a technical background or experience
  • You have excellent administrative skills and some technical knowledge (construction or plumbing industry experience is an advantage); some knowledge about international trade (import/export) would be an advantage
  • Ease with phone communication (quote follow up, direct approach with prospects);
  • You have an excellent command of Romanian and English, any additional European Language is an asset
  • You have a good knowledge and experience with IT tools (Office suite and modern ERP’s) and/or SAP experience is an advantage
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills and you are a good team player
  • You are an easy learner, a multi-tasker, have a good capability of adaptation and enjoy the challenges of a busy office environment
